CicLAvia to the Sea Feeder Ride Sun April 21

CicLAvia To the Sea is happening on Sunday, April 21, 2013 and features a route from downtown LA to Venice Beach (that's right, you'll be able to ride your bike to the beach!) If you don't know what CicLAvia is, its a big, free festival where they shut down miles of streets in LA for bikes & pedestrians and have performances, events, food trucks along the route. It's a great way to explore and see LA!

Caltech BikeLab will be leading a feeder ride for CicLAvia that leaves from Caltech and arrives in downtown LA for the festival. We will be passing many sights along the way.

Meet at 9 am at the Caltech Y (505 S. Wilson Ave, Pasadena CA) with your bicycle, in good running order and a helmet. (Come ten minutes early if you need a bit of air from a pump or very minor adjustments)

The public is welcome. We will be riding at a relaxed pace, with a few 4% grades. The ride is around 9 miles.

You can bike back or take Metro very easily back to Pasadena since the CicLAvia route crosses many Metro stations.
